Actors and models...During your shoot we have a total blast! Bring your phone if you want to have certain tunes on during your shoot or use the music at the studio or on my phone. My sessions are really laid back and I am known to jump around and climb things in order to get the best angles and best light. Everything is very in the moment and spontaneous while at the same time being structured enough to get you in and out in a decent amount of time. I never do more than 2 shoots on a given day and spend anywhere from 1-4 hours, depending on your package.
During your shoot...
Pregnancy and newborn...Doing your pregnancy shots is amazingly fun and you will be so glad that you have them in years to come. We can be as classic or as daring as you want to be and I ALWAYS make sure you are comforable and photographed in a away that makes you feel beautiful. These as well as newborn shots are obviously done in private and I will always travel to the newborn home to do an on-location shoot. Please be prepared for me to re-arrange furniture and hang refelectors and backdrops in order to get the best light and setting possible. When booking for a newborn, it is always best to book just after a feeding to get those happy, sleepy shots. Please have burp cloths and diapers on hand. Any soothing music or noise makers are always welcome. Space heaters are helpful and often necessary and I can arrange to bring these if you do not have them.
Families and kids...These shoots are just plain fun and are usually wrapped up in about an hour. I come to you or we meet at a pre-determined location in order to shoot your family photos, holiday greeting cards or special occasion pictures.
Water and snacks always good to have on hand to keep hydrated and energized as kids can droop but all in all, these are easy care-free shoots that will offer a lifetime of memories!
