ABOUT

BROOKE MARIE PROCIDA

DIRECTOR / OWNER

BFA University of Southern California

MACCE Goldsmith's University of London

Brooke is a multi-hyphenate creative who has been imagining, designing, developing, writing, composing,  directing, producing, performing, entertaining, marketing, selling, fundraising, collaborating, teaching, mentoring, researching, healing and serving for over 30 years.

Brooke's creative, entrepreneurial productions began in the woods of her Centerport, Long Island childhood home where she created walk-through “safari villages” in the "brush". These consisted of shockingly realistic medicine-man huts, quicksand traps, mud homes and functional woodland kitchens that neighbors could experience for the small price of one dollar.  If traumatized by the village's penetrating reality, especially the dirty hunter’s hat left floating above the quicksand, patrons could then visit Brooke’s "psychologist office" under the stairs in the family basement and pay another dollar to be cured with a meaningful quote, using her highly esteemed “pick a page-number” technique.

Singing, dancing, acting and performing all the while, Brooke continued to create classes, workshops and experiences for neighborhood friends and families throughout her youth.

After graduating from Long Island Highschool for the Arts and the University of Southern California, Brooke worked extensively as an actress and voiceover artist in both New York City and Los Angeles.

Falling mysteriously ill took Brooke out of the game for many years until she later discovered she had been living with chronic, lifelong Lyme disease. Probably contracted at one of the huts in the woods in the late 70’s. Before her diagnosis and eventual full recovery, Brooke left America for the UK where she received her Masters Degree in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship with a focus in Holistic Arts.

Becoming seriously ill offered Brooke a new perspective and a new approach to life, and Studio PCI came into existence. First developed as a way for Brooke to harness, focus and share all of her creative energy, a community emerged where Brooke, her students and peers began creating original work from the ground up.

Creating, writing, composing, directing several shows off-Broadway, at Carnegie Hall,  LA venues and abroad the UK, all while healing Lyme disease, Brooke continued to “fight on” in the Trojan tradition.

The pandemic created another opportunity for Brooke to reassess her business plan and artistic goals and opened the door for her to continue working as a Project Director, Podcast and Blog Manager, sales executive and content creator.

Brooke has since rebranded Studio PCI as a Creative Direction hub, where she continues to coach and mentor youth and families all while shifting focus to helping companies and individuals find and develop the creativity in their brand and mission.

Whether its working on social media, photography and video, content creation, blog and podcast content, event production, programming and fundraising or staying healthy in an entrepreneurial, creative life, Brooke enjoys every moment with every client, remembering that life and health can be compromised at the drop of a hat and that we are here to serve and love.
